MTB Enduro Training and Coaching

Enduro MTB riders must be strong while tired. It is the nature of the sport, so the training should reflect this. Our mtb training and coaching prepares you for your mtb enduro season with the right build-up, variety and balance in training. You will achieve good results if you start your mtb training early. You can train the basics for this during the winter season so that you can further sharpen your form before the start of the next MTB enduro season.

What are the main advantages of the Enduro MTB training plan?

Potential benefits of following a defined training plan for enduro mountain biking are listed below:

  1. Developing endurance, strength and explosiveness so you can ride longer and faster.
  2. Preventing injuries. In which we also prepare you physically and mentally so that you recover more quickly from an injury.

Tips and advice

MTB Enduro riding contains not only many kilometres but also a lot of altitude metres through often varied terrain, a serious challenge that requires a targeted approach in mountain biking and training guidance.

With years of experience in competitive sports, we coach you conditionally, technically and mentally to a higher level and the desired result! So that you can start your cycling mission fit, trained and at a high level and enjoy it.
Attuned to the season, you will receive different types of training in preparation, including strength training and core stability. We focus on improving condition, strength and endurance, learning to climb better and more explosiveness.

In addition to continuity in training, there is more to participating in mtb enduro races. To perform well and finish the race you need to be able to maintain your material and make choices in for example tyres, clothing and nutrition before and during the event.

Working method

#1 - Intake interview online or by telephone

After an initial meeting, you will receive an intake form on which you provide background information about your sporting history and your ambitions. In an intake interview, we discuss this information and your goals in the field of sport and mountain biking.

#2 - Discuss and create training plan.

After the intake, we will make a training schedule and plan a starting date for your workouts. At the beginning you will start with a few tests to determine what your zones are, so that you can start your workouts properly and specifically.

#3 - Weekly personalised training schedules

Each training session is uniquely written and tailored to your goals, experience, age, gender, body type and schedule. You will receive your weekly training schedule via Trainingpeaks. In this training software app, you can provide feedback on the training sessions you have completed and upload your training data from your cycling computer or smartwatch. We will provide you with feedback!

#4 - Telephone coaching call 1x per week

Every week we will discuss your progress on a mental, sporting and social level, give you tips on how to reach your goals, pay attention to keeping you motivated and having fun, and adjust your training where necessary. Short questions can be asked via email or WhatsApp, and where necessary we will call in our partners if our experience is not enough.
